Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be.
1. Who was your best friend?
Jennifer Hatfield. And she still is.
2. What sports did you play?
Does marching band count?
3. What kind of car did you drive?
At first, I drove mom's Camry. Then my folks loaned me the POS falling-apart Aerostar, which I nearly drove into the ground before it passed to my older brother Dean, who finished the job.
4. It's Friday night, where were you?
Getting sleep; there's a band/drum major competition tomorrow! Otherwise, working at the diner.
5. Were you a party animal?
What is this "party" of which you speak? I'm still really uncomfortable at parties. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing there.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
I was considered gay. So if I was considered a flirt, I don't know who I was flirting with.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
All three in junior high. Band in high school.
8. Were you a nerd?
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
10. Can you sing the fight song?
We didn't have a song with lyrics, per se. Instead, we played the UCLA fight song, and where UCLA chanted "U! C! Ellllllllll-A! UCLA! Fight! Fight! Fight!," we chanted "W! E! S! T! W-E-S-T West is best!" However, we did have West-based lyrics to UCLA's "Sons of Westwood." So.....yes.
11. Who was your favorite teacher?
Joan Jacobs. She was a true Mr. Keating, culminating in her being driven out of the school by the administration midway through the school year.
12. School mascot?
13. Did you go to Prom?
Nope. I was busy getting ready for a regional drum major tournament, and didn't really care about it anyway. I did go to formal, though, with Jen.
14. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
Not really, no.
15. What do you remember most about graduation?
Seeing everyone else being really excited about graduating, and feeling sorry for them because they'd reached their peak. Oh, and trying one last attempt to woo Jennifer. It was a choice between her best friend and a bodybuilder; there was no contest.
16. Where were you on senior skip day?
Which one? There were about 50 that I heard of. However, I didn't participate in any of them.
17. Did you have a job your senior year?
See also what I did on Friday night. The diner ate up a lot of my time.
18. Where did you go most often for lunch?
The cafeteria. I'd grab lunch and either go sit in the quad with the Bible Study group that kept me around as the token Jew (this is where I honed my debating skills), or hang out with band geeks.
19. Have you gained weight since then?
Yes. And that's all I have to say on the matter.
20. What did you do after graduation?
There was a half-assed party organized by the school. Mine was the first year after the 10 year ban from Disneyland, but apparantly no one told the organizers. So instead we had punch, cake, basketball and crappy music in a rented hall. It was like some rich kid's quinciniera, but with way too many guests.
21. When did you graduate?
22 Who was your Senior prom date?
Again, didn't go.
23. Are you going / did you go to your 10 year reunion?
From what I've been told, the senior class officers are the ones who are supposed to organize the reunions. If this is the case, I doubt there will be a reunion to go to; unless something drastic has changed, the senior class officers are still lazy and clueless.
24. Who was your home room teacher?
I honestly don't remember.
25. Who will repost this after you?
I would have said patgund, as he's keen on memes, but he's already done it. Therefore, I tap andrastelovesu.
