First off, what everyone's absolutely dying to know. After two weeks of silence, how much have I lost?
A: 6.8 pounds (~3.4 pounds each week), for a total of 33.9 pounds down!
And now, a celebratory anecdote:
A few years ago, I picked up a belt at Casual Male Big & Tall because my old one had worn out. In 2010, I started losing weight (at first because of diverticulitis, then due to my cutting out soda) and needed to put extra holes in. I was rather gung-ho in the hole-putting, and was rather more optimistic than my circumstances warranted. Needless to say, I gained back all the weight I'd lost, and the extra holes sat there, unused.
I still have that belt. And in the next day or so, I'm going to need to put more holes in it, because I'm currently wearing it as tight as it goes, and it's barely able to hold my pants up.
